🚨 SF BAY AREA it makes me very sad that we still have 8 perfect, healthy big kittens growing up mostly in an enclosure here at the rescue. They should be cuddling on someone's lap, zooming around, being happy babies. Soon they'll be a year old and still sitting here, waiting 💔

@TheNerdyCatLady Some mornings my “rounds” (feeding 8 cats, checking and maintaining all the litter robots, putting food out for the outside critters, etc) seem very daunting. But then all the little faces depending on me rubbing themselves on my legs and purring their little hearts out… just ❤️

I'm not gonna say my kid & my cats are boring, but caring for them every day; food, cleaning, litter, laundry, grocery shopping, etc is not mentally stimulating. Add in work 5 days a week, doing something you most likely don't enjoy to pay bills & rent. It's not fun. 🤷🏻♀️

@AllisonRFloyd Two years ago she was in the hospital fighting the hubris of young doctors who wouldn’t listen to us or even specialists who contacted them on her behalf. If not for the weekend shift coming in and a completely new staff buying into the specialist recommendations I’d be a widower

I’ve been seeing my POTS specialist for 13+ years. Last month she moved out of state and I can’t see a new specialist until November. Besides my cardiologist, who knows a bit, my other docs know nothing about POTS.
I’m on my own for the next 8 months and things are going WRONG.
