I could say it's because Cartoon Network animators in Brazil are better paid, but I think they receive infinitely less than the foreign animators at Prime. I think it's more about a healthy work environment without unnecessary pressure and creative freedom to play around in all phases of animation. I got to meet the creator, lead animator, background artist, and voice actor for the main character (yes, he did absolutely everything) at an event I was invited to as an artist.

Here in Brazil there's a cartoon called "Jorel's Brother". The voice actors sit in a circle in a room with microphones and read the script, and only then is the animation done based on that audio. So the raw reactions and organic conversations can be transmitted to the animation, which doesn't happen when the voice actor has to follow the predetermined mouth movements of the character. You feel like you're listening to a real conversation, and it makes the cartoon extremely funny and organic.

Vcs n acham cômico q steven universo só aborda tema lgbt uma única vez (no casamento da garnet) e mesmo assim falam q o desenho exagera no tema? Pois oq tem de anime q é todo episódio sexualizando alguma personagem feminina eu posso dizer q tão pesando a mão no tema "heteros"?
