#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 15: What do you wish for your family and friends? A prayer for them. I wrote a page for each, friends and family. If you don’t know, ask them. Ask what you can pray for someone for. They will appreciate the intention. Everyone needs help on something. They might not say or you may think you know something. Wish that they step with the best foot forward.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 13: What did you do this last week? I went on vacation. I missed a couple days on this program but am back at it now. On vacation I biked and hiked and rafted and bonded with brothers. I shared time and and had an excellent experience with them. We discussed many things including God and our faith, goals and desires and the actions we need to take in the coming days to succeed. In this prompt, I made a conscious effort to avoid speculations, thoughts and hopes. I stuck to "I statements" and articulated just what I did and realizations I came to. Writing this page out, I reinforced what I found valuable and impactful from my last week's events.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 12: What should you be doing in life that you are not currently doing? This prompt comes right before I meet up with friends to begin an adventure vacation. As I wait to meet them, I took the time to write. And to write on the daily prompt. I generally am doing what I should be. Sure there are some things at my house I could make work on, but those are currently out of mind right now. Some of these prompts may not be as applicable in certain times in your life. When this particular one is applicable is when you’re of the path you want to be on. Today’s page is just a reminder to me that I am still en route as planned.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 11: What are you better at then others? This prompt is a bit more self aggrandizing than some of the rest. But still a valuable question to consider for yourself. I acknowledge easily that some people are better at things then others. So what am I better at? One thing is patience. I like to consider myself patient. Its normally the other person who flees a difficult conversation because their feelings begin to dominate. In many scenarios, I can separate feelings from the facts at hand. But am definitely not immune to my own feelings taking over. I am also better at identifying nuisances and understanding most things in life include them. I think both of these characteristics have became stronger, and thankfully so, because of writing. This is why I am such a big advocate of this practice.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 10: What does success look like when you reach your goal? I first needed to define my goals. The prompts really haven't led me to consider long term goals yet, just short, weekly goals. One goal I have by next year is to become debt free, outside my mortgage. Success will be not having to split part of my paycheck to pay back such debtors, allowing myself to keep a sizably chunk of my paychecks. Its not only an increased supply of cash coming into my house but what comes with that reality. A lot of the time I consider just what if I quit my job and left the rat race, but I always stopped thinking when my debt payments came into the equation. So success will be the reality when my debt does not stop my progression towards financial freedom.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 9: What are your accomplishments for this week? I had to write on an event of my evening and night first before I write on the daily prompt. Life can get in the way of things so just allow the flow of it. Give yourself a break on a specific prompt if you have something else to write about. So I wrote mostly about the evening helping my friend on a job. I finished a side quest with Jack. Then I wrote on some small things I need to get done before I leave this weekend. That finished my page. Overall I really did give myself a pass on the specific prompt. At the end it was tougher to finish the page. I wrote nonetheless. Late at night. Before I finally made it to bed.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 8: Looking back one year ago, what are you grateful to have in your life today? Before I sat down to write this prompt, I looked back what I was even doing one year ago. This weekend last year, I was over at a friends farm. I am grateful to still have them in my life. I also remember at the time I was plagued with some anxiety around a girl I met. Well that never turned out, but I did learn through that situation how to rely on God to take my worries away. I am grateful my relationship with God has strengthened this last year. Overall this prompt is great for taking account of your life in comparison to your own history. I recognized sources of value that I have gained through life this last year.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 6: What are your plans for this weekend? My most exciting plan is mountain biking for the first time on an outdoor trail. I've road on indoor tracks before, so this should be a new adventure for me! I'm also thankful to meet my family for dinner tonight. The invite from my mom came at a good time since to keep me busy tonight. I'm also looking forward to day 7's prompt, I've got some this week. Before I finished the page I ran out of stuff to write. I wrote that, "nothing really", and was able to generate some other plans I'll try to set out to see more friends this weekend. I write "nothing" just to get that limiting thought out of my mind and sure enough another idea came to me. That's the power of writing.

@PresentPandelis That's a good idea. I think I'd struggle if I had to open up my laptop to access a list, but maybe the portability of the tablet would help!

I have just purchased a tablet and it transformed the way I work. I take it out with me when I usually would never take my laptop. It allows me to do proper work in more places. The note taking functions are insane. a daily to-do-list is never more than a few strokes away....here is my set up...

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 4: What stops you from taking action in your life? I found for me it comes down to losing touch with what I intend on doing. New ideas emerge in my mind, and those often take priority as they are more fresh in my mind. So how do I ensure that important tasks stay in my purview and get done? My first guess was a to-do list. I can't keep it in my normal journal though. So maybe some type of dry erase board might work. Simple idea, but it is still an idea I'll try out to keep things in my mind until they're finished.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 5: Are you on track to accomplish your goals this week? Checking in with some of the stuff I intended to work on and complete this week. My first priority was to keep up with this daily writing program. That is definitely on track. But some of the other things I wanted to get done, finishing a book, exercising, and making progress on home improvement projects has been slower. Today in this prompt, I reminded myself what I initially intended on doing. I may not be able to get moving on some of it today but will keep it in mind for tomorrow and the weekend. Overall I gave myself a C+. Not the best grade but not a failure either. There is room for improvement.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 3: What do you desire in life? This desire comes out a lot at work, but also lowkey when I attempt to share advice or whatever else I've built with people. I have a desire for my product to be used and valued by other people. Once I identified this desire in today's page, I started to ponder the positives and negatives in consequence to it. The positive was the continued urge to build a desirable product. The negative was motivation to build may become attached with other's use or more non-use of the product. This desire may also bleed into my relationships. If I don't feel valued, I may stop trying or resentment may form. I did not note any relationship in particular, just an identification of that possibility. Today's prompt was set to introduce a more intimate tone into your writing practice. It may be tough but considering the question will lead you deeper into your own mind and bring awareness to areas that may not always be consciously considered.

#30DayDailyWriting ✍️ Day 2's prompt is: What do you want to accomplish this week? This prompt is a staple for me in my normal journaling practice. Often, I write on it at the beginning of a week. The page might turn into a to do list, but it might also spark some new ideas on what to do that week. The accomplishments I noted include continuing this daily writing program, replacing content consumption with reading (specifically finishing a book I've been struggling to finish, The Shack), getting out to exercise everyday, and working on the @Conscious_Hands website. The last accomplishment I wrote, to start a home improvement project, was created on the spot. I've had in my mind to paint the outside window sills, but finally put a conscious note towards the task today. This week's goals are now set, now it's time to focus and achieve them!

Working on publishing a 30 day, daily writing program. I write daily and it has massive benefits, so this is my advocacy for the practice. I’m starting today with the prompt: If what you wrote came true, what would you write? ✍️ I wrote my own manifestation of replacing social media and other harmful media consumption with scripture. Instead of scrolling I invite God into my life. 🙏 I also wrote that I would focus on creating content, like this 30 day daily writing program. Look! It’s coming true already. Join me today by picking up a journal and pen and writing your own manifestation with today's prompt. #30DayDailyWriting

I’m getting pretty sick of cashless policies. Ball stadiums jack up prices then limit how you can pay? A National Park even tried to give me that policy. The federal government should ALWAYS take cash. They make it.
