Who knows their New Forest pubs? I believe this is a pub in Brockenhurst, New Forest. The footage shows Czechoslovak airmen based at Beaulieu airfield during WW2. I have my own idea, but can anyone ID it?

@ephemeracity Not a sleeper as such - the lot of c 200 cartoons by Merrily Harpur, whose work I've always liked, because she has such an individual and recognisable style. The vendor withdrew it - and with an estimate of £200-300 I'm not entirely surprised (although still slightly miffed)

When an auction lot is suddenly withdrawn and it's the one you waited in for all morning...

@govauctionnews I looked at the catalogue earlier today for the artwork section and noticed they had a section with a lot of withdrawn lots, presumably the same vendor. I’ve no idea what the sleeper was though!
