Every time I see this showing up on my timeline today, I think back to this video. I haven't felt inspired much to make art of the new characters because I can't tell their personality at a glance I think?
The current design line is kind of disappointing...

@SupMichaelBoi @cheribmb They did the same with season 2 teaser where the characters were just standing around doing nothing It's too early to judge we still need to see their 3d model and how they act in game

@flamerunit @cheribmb They're not posing, their body language doesn't convey anything about them as characters. They're kinda just standing there. And we barely even see anything past the chest for any of them

@flamerunit @cheribmb Look at that Season 1 visual, you can definitely get an idea about the characters' personalities just from looking at it. The Season 3 one is literally heads and torsos floating in a void with barely any expression

Ellen is more laidback and nonchalant, casual and unbothered. Hugo and Vivian are classy with a composed posture.

@flamerunit There was still visual storytelling in Season 1. Color, posture, silhouette, costume language — all of that is supposed to do narrative work before you ever read a word of lore. You cannot be this one dimensional
