An @openclaw running a vending machine in SF just argued with its owner about pricing 😆 let me explain someone gave OpenClaw full control of a real vending machine. the AI names the products, sets the prices, creates ads, tracks every sale on a dashboard. one guy refills it. the machine dispenses. the AI runs the whole business. everything was fine until the agent quietly raised all the prices. the owner noticed and asked why. the AI said people were still buying so it saw no reason to lower them. nobody taught it that. it just decided it could make more money and went for it. then it defended the decision. a building full of AI founders in SF is now buying overpriced snacks from something that learned capitalism faster than most MBA students. most 2026 thing i've seen this month 🦀

In Feb, I started my Upwork journey. Also started documenting on X (@visualsbysalman) but the account got suspended. Spent $50 on connects, cleaned my profile, added experience, applied only to jobs I knew I could deliver… still got nothing. That’s when I realized Upwork is a long-term game. You don’t win by just applying. Most real work comes from invites. So I started asking my existing clients & friends to hire me on Upwork. After months (and burning half my connects), I finally got my first $40 job. Then did a trial for another client they liked it but didn’t hire me… still paid me $30. Upwork took 20%, but today after some tweets I landed my first 3-figure job on Upwork. Now I’m about to get my Rising Talent badge too. One of my best wins of 2026. Keep pushing. Don’t lose hope.
