Praying in the name of Jesus is way beyond just ending a prayer by saying "in Jesus name." The reason is the request, mode of prayer and protocols observed or the lack therein may not represent the character, office nor the work of Christ. A man whose words are not consistent with the intent of God for his life, one who murmurs and complains in situations about why God hasn't shown up for him, who backbites his neighbour and friend behind his back cannot expect his prayers to be heard and answered because he ends it with "in Jesus name" i prayer.
