This is incredible. This machine is capable of cleaning up 100 million kg of plastic ocean waste, and as of 2025, it has already collected about 500,000 kg of plastic. It aims to remove 90% of ocean plastic by 2040.

Oof… today’s heartbreaking Epic news. I feel terrible for everybody affected. I’m not a business analyst. I’m a game reviewer and producer that has covered this industry for 30 years. I adore the videogame industry. My life’s work has been about honouring it. But… If Fortnite ain’t making enough money, it’s time to rethink the whole live service ball game. I’ve never seen the industry so perilous. Game development teams are the resource that should be protected. Those teams make the magic that powers this industry. If a creative team can work well together and finish projects and ship products, keep them together! From 1995-2015 there were a lot of changes. A lot of challenges. A lot of studio and company closures. But nothing like today. This risk-it-all and make billions or your studio closes reality is not sustainable or healthy for anyone. I think we should return to… Shorter AAA games. Smaller AAA budgets. Lower AAA prices. Pay once get the whole thing in AAA. Promote the next AAA game while players are enjoying the current one. Physical media for AAA games to underline their cultural and collectible value. Make games that most people can & will finish. Why spend millions on content most people will never see!? 5 x 20hr games at $50 each > 1 x 100hr game at $80.

@disparutoo We used to enjoy movies because they were filled with human beings. There was no check list on skin colour.

@Victor_Lucas Its because they are publicly traded, they need to appease shareholders and control the stock price.

@CinemaTweets1 Love this. To me Robert Duvall`s most iconic performance will always be in Lonesome Dove.

I’ve been getting into some of Robert Duvall’s deep cuts lately & that includes Joe Kidd, in which Duvall stars alongside Clint Eastwood in a film directed by John Sturges. Young Duvall was lethal. I wrote earlier about how Duvall had multiple primes. This was the first.

Hard disagree. Dark Knight EXPLODED in 1986. It reignited the Batman brand, which was fading. We love this stuff!

#Fandom🤓 When I have to explain that-- no one wants to see their heroes old, broken down, declining, inept, losing powers, grizzled, angry, grumpy, cussin', with a bland/neutral color palette and out of costume... ...when superheroes are supposed to be in their prime, strong, continually mastering their abilities, optimistic, inspirational, courageous, hopeful, sacrificial, with brightly colored costumes, because that's what superheroes have (for the most part) always been.... --that's a clear indication of how far our culture has fallen.
