REPORT: The #StrangerThings Season 5 finale script reveals a long list of around 70 cut scenes and moments that were written but didn't make the final episode. The script labels them "OMITTED," which is the industry term for a scene that got removed or merged during rewrites. The finale, "Chapter Eight: The Rightside Up," went through four-plus rounds of revisions before locking, so the Duffers clearly reshaped this ending a lot before they were happy with it.

It’s really disappointing that even the posters for season 5 fell short. They just were not that visually interesting and just felt bland. I mean these are fine? It’s just not notable compared to others from past seasons. The others from this season aren’t memorable at all
