@banjosnr Different level from every other bowler out there. Thing is he’s not doing anything outrageous, just bowling a CONSISTENT good line & length. Something none of ours can do. Just a complete disregard for the situation again from our batsmen.

@gregsufc80 Yeah your stumper needs a little work but i do like the hustle of your batsmen not trying to smash the ball but taking those quick singles that build good totals. I haven’t seen our batsmen this successful as a team in years but Mitch Starc…how good is he in this series?

@banjosnr Yeah- definitely in the balance which is what we want after 2 days play, not a result! Although if your guys put another hundred on tomorrow we are up against it big time. Never seen us field as bad as that today, not a fan of our stumper at all.

@gregsufc80 It was an entertaining day. For me it was nice to see our batsman actually contributing as a team instead of piggybacking off one players big score. A couple of dropped catches definitely cost you but I think it’s going to be competitive all the way through. It’s 50/50 in my mind

In a game that was severely lacking in real quality, Sheffield United had that little bit more. Two goals from Campbell, both of which were disappointing, sealed the deal, and #SWFC barely created anything. Too many Wednesday players simply weren’t at it. Not good enough. 3-0.

@domhowson Dom the warm up matches argument sailed a long time ago. No one does it anymore. Not enough time in the schedule. The players don’t want to go out a month early and play 3 warm up matches.

Bazball? Australia have shown England how to play it today. You’ve got to question England’s lack of warm-up matches ahead of the series. The bowlers bailed the batters out in the first innings. So many batsmen look undercooked. Serious questions need to be asked. #Ashes2025 🏏
