Its wild to me that grep/ripgrep is state of the art locally for agents. The harnesses should ship semantic local search and indexing

I've been writing for a few years now, and I've noticed something. The more I write, the more unpublished drafts I have. Not because I'm getting worse at finishing, but because my standards have changed. The post is about how creating more improves your taste - and how taste is not just knowing good from bad, but knowing what is yours among many good options. I think it's useful if you: - write, design, build, or create anything regularly - use AI in your creative work and want to get better at judging what it gives you - have ever tried to jam every good idea into one piece and watched it get weaker

How we talk about the work we did in collaboration with AI matters for how work done with AI is viewed in general. bhekani.com/posts/were-bui…

agents are terrible at cleaning up after themselves this script i've been using since pre-ai gets the job done `lsofk 3000 3001 3002` kills every process on those ports

Last night's Armand Hammer show was pretty special. I'm still reeling from hearing Pakistani Brain live.

sent this to the team today everything great comes from being able to delay gratification for as long as possible and it feels like we're collectively losing our ability to do that

Readout is a fully native macOS app I’ve been building for myself. It provides a real-time overview of your dev environment and Claude Code config. All local, no account required. It's still very much a beta, but now available to try: readout.org

I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and experimenting a bit. From now on, every blog post gets a video walkthrough. This is the first one. 📺 Scaling ECS Fargate like Lambda 📺 ⚙️ SQS-driven scaling with Lambda vs ECS Fargate ⚡ Why Lambda scales instantly ⏱️ Why ECS Fargate’s first scale-out takes ~2 minutes 📈 Why ECS will always build a small backlog under bursty load youtube.com/watch?v=APryNe…

It's interesting how I used to stress over cleaning up every sentence I wrote, and now I'm like, "eh, if something is a little clunky, at least people will know it's me that wrote it instead of AI"
