so what you’re accidentally proving is that hs was prepping his solo WAY before march 🥰 standard album production from A&R, song licensing, to final master takes 4-6 months minimum, and a solo debut takes even longer. so, there was no sudden departure or getting kicked out 🥰

the issue was never simply “mentioning his former fandom’s name” people are frustrated cuz context exists, and pretending it doesn’t is exactly why this situation keeps getting uglier. when a departure already caused months of chaos. boycotts, nonstop ‘the group is seven, still seven, always seven’ propaganda, members being reduced to punching bags, every word they say getting dissected in bad faith, then casually feeding that attachment again without clarifying anything is irresponsible at best. especially when the people carrying the actual consequences are the ones who stayed. and that’s the part some of y’all intentionally ignore. the current members have been trying so hard to stabilize the group’s image and protect each other while constantly getting attacked. one member speaks up against disrespectful spam, suddenly he’s ‘shady.’ another tries to reassure fans? overanalyzed for days. they can never win cuz certain people already decided the remaining members are villains for simply continuing their careers. meanwhile the person who left gets romanticized no matter what. silence becomes ‘pure class.’ ambiguity becomes ‘maturity.’ avoiding accountability becomes ‘being unbothered and true man.’ but if anyone points out the obvious impact of his actions, suddenly they’re ‘haters.’ the double standard is genuinely fascinating. cuz realistically, what exactly was gained from that interaction besides reigniting narratives that were finally starting to die down? the people screaming ‘he’ll come back’ will only become louder, the boycott behavior will get worse again, and the members still in the group will once again absorb all the backlash while outsiders act clueless about why fans are upset. that’s why calling it a coward move isn’t even harsh to me. if you know your words still heavily influence a fandom environment this unstable, but you continue to move ambiguously while others deal with the fallout for you, then yes, people are going to question your responsibility in all this. especially when the ones getting dehumanized daily are not even the person who left, but the members who stayed and kept carrying the group forward regardless.
