Building the app is often the easy part. Configuring everything for deployment is where the real work begins. Accounts, API keys, domains, DNS, webhooks, environment variables… good night 🥱 😴

It makes me think how are they even figuring it out your nationality? Even within the US? Does anthropic have access to your identity? Or did the government share our identity?

The most powerful signal is not the benchmark scores. It’s the government stepping in to control access. When a technology starts getting export restrictions, it has already become strategically important. That tells you everything you need to know about how where AI is going.

With AI 1. I don’t feel like I am working less. 2. What was impressive a year ago is now expected. 3. The faster you can deliver, the more you’re expected to deliver.

@11bhagwat AI can generate SQL, sure. But if you don’t understand what the query is doing, you’re one bad prompt away from corrupting or deleting data. That’s a much bigger risk than shipping buggy application code.

In my experience every developer should know how to write SQL queries. If you don’t know then learn. It is going to change the way you work.
