the biggest change i’ve noticed at 5/5 1000 cap from 7 years ago is most of the player pool absolutely will not sit deep. when they get above $1500 or $2000 stack it’s time to take a victory lap and rack up. may be just the pool i’ve been playing in, but its 90% of them.

I’ve seen two concerts at Sphere. The place is an absolute marvel but isn’t my favorite venue for music. Shows become more about the Sphere’s visual immersiveness and less about the performers. I could see many applications where this becomes the perfect medium, but if I see a legendary rock band, I want to focus on the artists and their mastery of the craft.

@dankness3 I don’t know, man. Considering so much of our oldest mythology blames women for all of humanity’s problems (Pandora, Eve, etc) I’m not sure there was ever a time where men took any responsibility.

I’m old enough to remember a time where men would take some responsibility if they weren’t able to find a good woman. Now they just blame women. Using this as a grift is as sad as it is profitable because not only does it fuel hatred for women, it’s also terrible advice for men.

@emmabaccellieri I had looked at that but you only got 10 legs which, to some destinations, doesn't get you nearly as far as you'd like if you're trying to work your way slowly across the country.

Letter of Recommendation: Amtrak's rail pass. Went across the country twice (7,500+ miles!), had the best time, got to experience a bunch that would have out of reach by car or air or anything else. Take the train!
