@katilynnreads last time i had an ear infection that wouldn’t clear up after being prescribed meds, it was because they’d given me ear drops assuming it was a bacterial infection, but actually it was a fungal infection made worse by the moisture 🙃

Does anyone have any tips on pain relief for ear infections? Im going on day 2 of the medication from the doctor but at this point the pains gotten so bad I cant sleep for more than like a half an hour before I'm woken up because I moved wrong.

@katilynnreads not pain relief advice but if the pain isn’t improving after 2 days of meds, go back to the doctor and have them check that they didn’t misdiagnose the infection type (speaking from experience 🙃)

@katilynnreads that copy pasted message on other sites usually leads to a phishing scam where they tell you to contact a fake support email for help (this fake support account will then tell you to change your password/steal your account)
