Devotion 2 d duty is d highest form of worship 2 the God…Swami Vivekananda. My 2 yrs tenure as Dean @iith_src is summarised in this single line. I thank @BVRMohanReddy (BoG Chairman) & Director @IITHyderabad for felicitating me in FC meeting today. I am a Voice Without a Form.

Our endeavors have expanded beyond mere project execution assistance to encompass a broad spectrum of initiatives aimed at augmenting the overall R&D ecosystem. @iith_src @IITHyderabad

Farewell hosted by @iith_src serves as an opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all SRC staff for their tireless efforts, unwavering dedication & unrelenting commitment in transforming SRC office as one of the top-performing sections within @IITHyderabad in last 2 years.

On the sideline of the event, it was so nice to meet @deeguptams . We had a very productive discussion on the wide range of issues. @ACSPublications @GlobalYAcademy @INYAS_INSA

At this occasion, Hon’ble S&T Minister, @DrJitendraSingh also addressed the gathering thru a video message. 8 new NIDHI TBIs were inaugurated. Impact reports & compendiums of DST NIDHI PRAYAS; EIR Program; DST supported 50 Impactful Women-Led Indian Startups were also released.

A lot is done in last decade however much more is, yet 2 b done 2 tap & nurture talent & foster innovation culture at an early stage. @karandi65, Secy. @IndiaDST inaugurated Startup Utsav 2 celebrate 8 years of #NIDHI program along w/ Director @iitdelhi & Praveen Roy, Head TTI.

Joined a panel on "Triumph Over Barriers in Tech. Translation" during @IndiaDST Startup Utsav- #NIDHI IMPACT@8 celebration @iitdelhi. I discussed major bottlenecks & shared a few enabling policies adopted at @IITHyderabad apart frm my own learnings as founder of a startup to ToT.

Prof. @karandi65 also visited @IitTihan , a technology innovation hub for autonomous navigation where Prof. Rajalakshmi & her team demonstrated an up-lift of passenger drone with a payload of 60& 100 kg to be developed further as air-ambulance for remote areas.

On this momentous occasion, Prof. @karandi65 also inaugurated #HallOfFame at Admin Building. The #HallOfFame depicts the glorious journey of last 16 years of @IITHyderabad in pictorial way and showcase various products & technologies developed by IIT Hyderabad Faculty & Students.

Imp: This facility is established in record 6 months after sanction frm @IndiaDST. 👏 #TeamSATHI led by Sai & Shourya. Glad 2 facilitate the process as Dean @iith_src. An example how v can still follow GFR & establish such huge facility quickly w/ proactive & coordinated efforts.

#SATHI #CISCoM facility @IITH, 1st of its kind in 🇮🇳 will house 9 state-of-the-art in-situ microscopy facilities including Atom Probe, μFTIR, Rheometer & Optical μscope, already set up. 3D Atom Probe (LEAP 6000 XR model) is only 6th installation globally (4 are in 🇰🇷, 1st in 🇮🇳).

@IndiaDST supported #SATHI Centre for In-Situ & Correlative Microscopy (#CISCoM) at @IITHyderabad was inaugurated today by Prof. @karandi65. This facility is being established with 60 Cr funding from DST & 20 Cr from 18 partners from academic institutions, R&D labs & industries.

As I transition from this role, I take a moment to reflect on my 2-year tenure thru a report card & self-evaluation. It has been a fulfilling experience contributing 2 the growth & development of institute. Looking ahead, I'm excited 2 dedicate more time 2 my family & students.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to everyone for their collaboration & support, including the Director, Deans, Heads of Dept, Heads of Sections, and the entire team at SRC office, IIT Hyderabad. Here is my last message as Dean @iith_src to @IITHyderabad fraternity.

My two-year journey as Dean (@iith_src @IITHyderabad) has come to an end yesterday. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served the @IITHyderabad to the best of my abilities during this period. @EduMinOfIndia @INYAS_INSA @GlobalYAcademy

Stage set for 2 days brainstorming session to prepare a vision document on “Advanced Materials” as a part of @IndiaDST National Program on Nano Sci. & Tech. Looking forward to welcoming ~100 experts from academia, R&D Labs, Industry & various GoI ministries at @IITHyderabad.

At the end, I discussed the way forward and some actionable items (short & long term) to have engagement & collaboration with Wiley Publications. Thanks Dr. @RohiniKitture and Dr. Swagata for visiting us. It was a day well spent.

Earlier, I, along with other Research Advisory Committee members of @IITHyderabad had wonderful discussions on a range of topics related to publishing in high I.F. journals, publication matrices, research assessment etc.
