#ParliamentQuestion: WOMEN'S PARTICIPATION IN QUANTUM RESEARCH AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP INCLUDING FELLOWSHIPS 💠The Government of India is implementing the National Quantum Mission (NQM) to promote research, development, and innovation in quantum technologies with an outlay of ₹6003.65 crore for a period of eight years 💠Under the Mission, four Thematic Hubs (T-Hubs), namely Quantum Computing (led by IISc Bengaluru), Quantum Communications (led by IIT Madras), Quantum Sensing (led by IIT Bombay) and Quantum Materials (led by IIT Delhi) have been established in F.Y. 2024-25 💠These T-Hubs comprises of 14 Technical Groups having 17 Project Teams bringing together a total of 152 researchers from 43 Institutions across 17 states and 2 UTs, including Maharashtra Read here: pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… @IndiaDST

#ParliamentQuestion: TECHNOLOGY TRANSLATION RESEARCH PARKS (TTRP) 💠The proposals were subsequently examined by the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) against criteria such as alignment with national priorities and NM-ICPS objectives, financial sustainability and operational roadmap, existing industry collaborations and commercialisation potential, capability to build a broad cyber-physical systems (CPS) research and skilling ecosystem, and synergy with existing TIH infrastructure and resources 💠The TTRPs are encouraged to further strengthen translational research, technology development and industry engagement in their respective focus areas, while expanding activities related to technology validation, prototyping and sector-specific applications.
