@pssdganjedi One of my long time friends began SSRI’s months ago, and when I chilled with his this weekend he said they give severe withdrawal symptoms. It was ironic to me because this is the guy who would criticize me for drinking caffeine or using nicotine gum

I think everyone should spend a year or so doing each of these jobs before 24-25: - A boring retail job that has you on your feet all day - A service job like waiting tables - A white-collar job where you work an hour and pretend for 7 hours You’ll learn a lot about life.

Regarding nicotine, caffeine, weed, porn, or any other addiction. You have to understand that addictive energies are very powerful forces. The problem is most of you use your addictive energy in your mind for the wrong things. You’re spread too thin. You’ll find some cope reasoning like “nicotine makes me feel dialed”, “I have unlimited energy with caffeine”, or some other cope. My question to you is do you have the life you want? Are you a multi-millionaire? Do you have the body you want? If the answer is no, then it sounds like you are wasting your fucking energy. I will let you in on a secret. When you overcome an addiction of any sort, whether it’s nicotine, caffeine, porn, gambling, whatever, you effectively proved to your own brain that you are a winner and that you will do whatever it takes to win and you better yourself. This leads to an internal confidence and aura that you cannot put a price on. There is no way to quantify the ROI on this belief and discipline within yourself. So what happens to that addictive energy once you capture it into a bottle inside your mind and beam it towards the right direction? You become fucking unstoppable. I have an addictive personality. But I choose to use that energy wisely. What is my addiction? It’s to myself. Somebody may call it obsession. Somebody may call it addiction. Somebody may call me a workaholic. Nonetheless, I would not have the time or energy to be so obsessed in something that is so productive if I had seven other vices that I’m addicted to. If this goes over your head, please reread this tweet. This is one of those 200 IQ things that you have to truly know to know. If you can some way, allow this information to break through your thick skull, and to actually see what I am saying is true, versus coping and losing to yourself just so you can stick another Zyn in your mouth, then you have what it takes. Trust me, it will be well worth it. Eventually you will be able to blink and cure yourself of any bad habit and redirect that energy elsewhere. These are the secrets of the world that are not talked about enough. Everything is a balance, yin and yang. Such a strong energy, such as an addiction should not be squandered on some bullshit like a head buzz. You need to take that part of your brain that allows you to lock in unconsciously and do something without thinking, and use it for a productive gain. Will not elaborate further.

If you agree with this you are a loser, just FYI. That’s not being harsh, that’s just the truth. Bar for success is so low for anyone in Gen Z. You have to: - quit feeling sorry for yourself - quit comparing yourself to others - quit nicotine - quit gambling - delete all social media - delete dating apps - consume LESS information - workout everyday - not play video games - not binge watch TV - not follow sports - get your hands dirty IRL - work multiple jobs - avoid remote jobs unless you have a coworking space - touch grass and talk to people IRL - take absolute self-accountability - understand that you are the root cause and solution to all of your problems And you will succeed. It’s actually that easy. If you don’t believe that, or if this post infuriates you? That’s ok. It just proves you have a loser mentality. Your only competition is the man in the mirror. Simple as that. Winners win. Losers lose. Always have, always will.

i know you don’t know why, so i will explain the theatrics behind this for you while growing up, i had a friend who refused to use a case, he said it ruined the design so one day his phone slipped out of his hand in slow mo, we both watched it hit the ground like a scene from an indian movie 😭 his screen cracked instantly but he picked it up, looked at it for a second… and just laughed. he didn’t fix it for months, that’s when i realized it wasn’t about the phone. .. some people don’t move through life trying to avoid damage, they move like they’ve already accepted it. so rocking a caseless phone means your comfortable with risk or you’ve just accepted that damage is part of the experience, some people want protection but others want to feel everything even if it comes with consequences...

@1w0wzerz At the end of the day even if I became the very best, it would still just be within a video game and has little relevance to anyone IRL So I just became a casual player and focused on real life. I feel like just being a high rank casual player is infinitely better

@1w0wzerz I agree that it’s majoring in minor things. At the age of 12 I was pretty good at this one game, had some recognition and gained maybe like $900. Then I quit, but revisited trying to “go pro” for a year when I was about 15, but I’m glad I snapped out of it because 1/2

Unpopular opinion: 99% of u should quit and do something useful IRL. You’re not going pro, your 8 hours a day of demo watching probably isn’t going to get you anywhere. Play for fun, enjoy life, have a plan, make some real money. CS is not your life. You’re not the 1% I promise.
