The best thing about Sundays is that Opus 4.6 (max) is as fast as Haiku on a Monday morning.

I rewrote a full React + GraphQL SPA into Phoenix LiveView in just 2 days. We originally chose React purely for the DX. LiveView has non-obvious conventions, but with AI handling the boilerplate, we get all the performance benefits with none of the headaches.

One of the cool things about AI-assisted coding is that you can start choosing your tech stack based on actual performance, even if it means sacrificing some DX. Two examples I've experienced lately:

I haven't had this much fun building things since I was 11 and learned Microsoft FrontPage.

TBH the best thing about this AI coding thing is that we can finally center divs.

@walterk My current subscription is the top tier for @GitHubCopilot and I do run out of credits often (40% consumed this month so far 🥶). I'd switch the Claude Code but I like being able to jump from one model to another (Opus, Gemini 3 Pro, GPT Codex ). I find all of them them useful!

@javier_dev I find that, even working with multiple worktrees, is really really hard to run out of tokens in the 20x Claude Code plan. Professional use pays for it in the first or maybe the second date.

Meanwhile, your average 100+ employee company is still debating whether to allow employees to use AI assistants due to IP concerns.

Ah, I also did the back-end in parallel 💅 (feels weird to use "I" here, should I say "we?")

Yesterday I wrote +18,000 LoC for a fully featured new React Native app. In a single Sunday. The estimate in the original plan (drafted with an LLM) was 7 weeks. There is no going back 🫨
