@OddsWise I have a full time job & 4 kids, 1 who is disabled so I have to carefully manage my time as it's generally not my friend Hence the need to specialise

@jcatskill 30 races, 4 bets. The amount of work that has to be done then thrown away. Can spend an hour in a race and come to no definitive conclusion. No bet. Move onto the next one. Last Saturday I did all the work and found nothing. Nature of the beast.

Spent 22 of the last 48 hours studying the form to yield a 4th, a 3rd, and two 2nds. Disheartening but at least I'm barking up the right trees. The early work is a steep learning curve, similar to the North face of the Eiger but those hard early yards pay off in the long run.

@OddsWise Hi, thanks for the reply. That makes more sense than 5 hours a race. I admire your patience, not something I could do. Have you ever considered specialising ( I concentrate on long distance handicaps) ? That way the 30 becomes 5, less stress & probably better insight

@OddsWise Genuine question. What is it you look at that takes over 7 hours per race? What sort of form study do you do?

@SmarterSig May well be , but doesn’t deny the fact there was a pandemic. You got some stuff right during Covid but to deny the existence of a global pandemic is ridiculous

The World Cup starts in 30 days and legit barely anyone cares. In America, probably barely anyone knows the world’s biggest sport competition starts in a month. This has been the worst rollout for the World Cup I have ever seen in my life. It was a mistake to award it to Modern America. It’s no longer a serious society.

Same feeling every year when I finally watch some WC snooker and instantly regret having not watched every frame in every match

Rewatching Succession, for the third time & this time introducing my daughter to it. Just finished series 3 & the epic in Tuscany. Fairly confident in proclaiming it the best TV series ever.

Somewhere there's one neutral football fan who thought 'You know, I'm going to watch the Arsenal match tonight. Munich Madrid bit too obvious for my tastes'

Unfortunately PSG are probably the best team I’ve seen since peak Messi Barcelona. Be amazed if Liverpool even avoid defeat tonight

Is Annie Power winning the Aintree Hurdle one of the best performances at Aintree ever? (excluding the Grand National) Some mare she was! 🩷

@SmarterSig I've looked at that data, which only goes up to 2023. as you say, general decline, but not straight line. Peak in 2020 & 2021 for obvious reasons. 2023, in all age brackets under 70 are going backwards , not forwards. General population pattern continues into 2024 & 2025

@jcatskill All ages within 15 to 70+ have seen steady declines to 2020 and then they spiked. Now after the main Covid 'Pandemic' and its more dangerous variants one would expect a 'harvesting' period perhaps the same or lower than 2019 but they remained above 2019 levels. Doctors are also..

Vast numbers of people in the western world decided it was a good idea to get into bed with the drug development equivalent of Harold Shipman and can't understand why we are have rising death rates now

See what Pfizer did to the Nigerians! When a trial goes badly wrong.Life is cheap for Pfizer. “Pfizer was administered on me, and I couldn’t move my leg; the other one also shrunk and dried up It damaged my organs, they killed my hormones that will help me to grow”

I know at half time when you’re losing 1-0 to Japan isn’t peak timing to say this, but England’s midfield & attacking strength in depth is superb Saka, Kane, Bellingham, Rice, Rashford all not playing tonight
