Given that the Gemini AI will be at the heart of every Google product and YouTube, this is extremely alarming! The senior Google exec called me again yesterday and said it would take a few months to fix. Previously, he thought it would be faster. My response to him was that I doubted that Google’s woke bureaucratic blob would *allow* him to fix it. Unless those who caused this are exited from Google, nothing will change, except to make the bias less obvious and more pernicious. Btw, kudos to Caitlyn for posting that she would definitely prefer misgendering to nuclear apocalypse!

To my running nerds, doctors, therapists, health nerds: I have chronically tight calves. Which causes tons of achilles pain. MRIs show achilles tendonitis. Prevents me from running consistently. Been this way for 10 years. I've tried everything: losing weight, heel drops, night splints, stretching, needling, percussion gun, diff shoes. Is there ANYTHING that help solve this? I've read tons of research/papers - can't find good answers. I'm a former D1 400m runner. I'd kill to be able to run long distances or sprint like I used to!

@thesamparr There are a lot of books that contain really bad advice, so advising people to “read” Is kind of like advising people to “eat”. It all depends on what you’re consuming.

For the record: I know tons of successful people who don't read. Hell, I'm pretty sure I know a handful who barely know how to read.

@thesamparr Europe doesn’t (or perhaps it’s didn’t until recently) use soybean oil. This is used in blended oils and processed foods. It’s crap and unhealthy. I’m lucky enough to be allergic.

Lots of Americans vacationing in Europe say the same thing: - I didn’t eat healthy (they normally eat healthy in USA) - I ate a lot. - I walked normal amounts. And yet: - they lose weight - feel better (less full, less achy). Any data on why? And What about your experience? Did you notice this too when you moved from Europe to America or Vice versus?

Billie Eilish is the perfect example of how BOTH extremes in America often overstep to attack people’s personal decisions for idiotic reasons.
