If I were gonna make a movie from Tolkien leftovers I'd probably choose a sidequel like "Here's how humans and dwarves teamed up to hold off Sauron's northern forces at the Lonely Mountain while the story you know was going on to the south." There are juicier stories to tell.

Armageddon works because Bruce Willis could sell any line, no matter how absurd. “You want to send these boys up in to space? Fine. I’m sure they’ll make good astronauts. But they don’t know jack about drilling” is an insane bit of dialogue that the movie pretty much hinges on.

Harrison Ford knew exactly what was needed of him in Blade Runner 2049. He understood the assignment. I always say that Blade Runner 2049 is an example (rare example) of a legacy sequel done right. Ford’s a big reason why. Unquestionably one of his best outings of the century.

Took us 6 years to get SEND HELP made. It all started as a pitch to Sam Raimi. Original movies in the theater are an endangered species. If you love them, please come out on the 30th. This movie is an experience. You'll scream and laugh and gasp and why am I pointing at that guy
