@SamErde I've got a single node HCI cluster... it's useful if you want to do HCI "stuff" and connect it Azure, but since I typically just manage the VMs with Hyper-V Manager a Hyper-V Server would be pretty much the same but without the complication of clustering

Prepping to build a new home lab! (In, your know, all my spare time.) Is anyone using single node Azure Stack HCI instead of Hyper-V Server? Can we do this on commodity hardware or does it need to be certified?

After tinkering today I was able to connect via bluetooth my xbox controller to my @Raspberry_Pi Pico_W and parse inputs using @usedbytes code (originally for PS4). I'll upload my fork to GitHub after some refactoring.

@tellmers What's your plan to patch the VMs? How will you manage power state (StartVMonConnect is fine for persona VMs... but...)? I would think again about Nerdio... there's a lot of value for an at scale deployment.

@DarkainMX @CarmenCrincoli @Ubiquiti Yes, of course, I have bunch of those sitting around with adjustable pots, for projects I will never start! I just figured it might be easier for Carmen to get a couple of transistors since its a fixed application

@johnkel @CarmenCrincoli @Ubiquiti while that works, that basically dissipates the difference as waste heat and generates a continuous load on the circuit. Personally I'd recommend a modern buck converter using a switching mode circuit. This is what I'm currently using: ebay.com/itm/3250455808…
