@Dragon_Age_Fans I did it in my first playthrough...DAI was my first Dragon Age game and the mission is really convincing about the dreadnought and Qunari support being important. Then Trespasser happened. Never again.

This is such a weird perspective. People who played it will be first in line to watch, but the story/universe itself is not inaccessible to non-gamers in the least. Mass Effect is just space science fiction, not a new concept to film/TV.

@Dragon_Age_Fans Sebastian was underdeveloped but I still liked him, and I found him a a really fascinating direct foil to Anders. Both extremely vengeful guys who took opposite paths to manage their worst instincts.

@BaschRonsen @Dragon_Age_Fans Solas and Bull actually get along quite well as the game goes along, especially if you make Bull Tal-Vashoth. Solas starts a game of mental chess with Bull as you guys run around Thedas.

@Dragon_Age_Fans Blackwall but not because I don’t like him, purely because he doesn’t seem to get along with Viv or Solas who are your only mages if you don’t play as one.

@seriitonin Don't stay in the Hinterlands or any one area for too long, leave to do quests, and go back later. And don't feel pressured by the fetch quests, you do not actually have to collect *all* the shards and bottles and astrariums etc. I've played three times and I never have.

do y'all know any ways to get Less Overwhelmed with inquisition because there's just SO MUCH all the time that it's really starting to throw me off i really want to be able to enjoy the game like i have with origins, 2 and veilguard but it's real hard with how much is there

@queam3 He’s meant to kinda be like that one guy who grew up pampered and fully swallowed the propaganda he was indoctrinated on, and then spent one summer with normal people and comes back a radical. At this point, he basically sees slavery as the only form of welfare in Thedas.

@plausivel4 @queam3 It's a fantasy world where race isn't based on skin colour so there's no reason to expect them to address it that way. They explore racism & oppression through the world's actual race construct, e.g. prejudice against elves, dwarven caste wars, mage oppression, etc etc

@joyeful @queam3 It makes sense. But they needed to be so extreme? Also if they werent so "i dont see color" in all the games it woudnt bother me as much

@plausivel4 @queam3 I mean, I love the approach that BW took with Dorian and they certainly weren't using him to excuse slavery, but to show how privilege blinds one to societal atrocities. That's exactly the story I want white people to be telling LOL
