Earlier, I spoke to Reps Jones, Pearson, and Johnson to thank them for their leadership and courage in the face of a blatant disregard of our nation’s democratic values. Our country needs to take action on gun violence — to do that we need more voices like theirs speaking out.

Obviously I’m calling on @CitiBikeNYC to have a policy where they don’t, for any reason, endanger cyclists and block bike lanes, crosswalks, etc. This individual is just taking orders and doing what Citi Bike wants him to do as we heard from his response.

So it’s with some sorrow that I read Noam’s statement today that he will not be seeking re-election next year as Mayor of New Rochelle. But, as always, he makes great points, with style.
