@junias Since I was retrenched and just waiting to finish the term, I've been a bit openly weirdo, it's been liberating (albeit temporarily).

Furries are so different from work colleagues, who in turn are so different from the rest of society. And I can't be myself with any of them. Always hiding parts of myself: at a furmeet, at the office, on the train. At this point. I don't know what my true self is anymore.
