It’s with a heavy heart that I share that Gerda Weissmann Klein, the subject of my 1995 documentary One Survivor Remembers, passed away last night. I’ve attached a link to the film in my bio case any of you want to remember or share with loved ones. May her memory be everlasting.

OTOH, Dake was the American who finally slayed the Burroughs Dragon & was within 1 pt of beating the 16 Bronze medalist at 86 who now wrestles 40lbs above him. IMHO if they both win out through 24 they should be considered tied. But Dake has to be in the conversation.

@kantholis @EarlBSmith20 Dake doesn’t have an Olympic title. DT > Dake unless that happens next year. I also think David’s wins over Yazdani hold a lot of value. Dake has not seen some of the best guys internationally, while DT has beaten Yazdani several times.
