Aside from hosting costs which alone make this wildly expensive for creators, the real hurdle is a lack of reach. Ppl migrated from twitch to YouTube for a reason. If the only concern were not being throttled by restrictions everyone would move to kick or patreon or just develop their own site. YouTube's more than just a hosting site, they are a search engine, a distributor, and an advertiser all wrapped in one. No need to reinvent the wheel if you just want to move off of YouTube.

Hey poker creators do you guys wanna start a site for uploading our videos? Let’s just share it, and sell no ads. - Share the cost equally. Membership fee monthly for hosting - sponsorships are free reign but through your own videos and description. - ownership for first 50.

one of my only regrets from my poker career is not documenting the journey from low stakes to nosebleeds, and earning 7 figures along the way. not just for the memories, but because being transparent and sharing the process would have opened doors faster. i stopped playing full time a few years ago and started building a business, and we're on pace for a few million this year. but i want to build something way bigger: $20m+/yr. here's the thing: in poker i had proof. i could point to results. in business i'm technically winning, but i'm a small winner at baby stakes. i'm realizing the only way to get to "nosebleeds" in business is to work alongside incredibly smart/talented people. and the best way to find those people is to share what i'm learning along the way. so i'm going to use this account to share what i learn as we grow. the wins... and the fumbles.

Completely agree. He went far and beyond what he had to the first time I met him about 1 1/2 years ago. Every interaction has been top-notch. Recently, I took part in a MUG he and @pokerface_ash_ hosted, and he worked his magic. Everyone had fun, and he made connections for other aspiring content creators in the area to help them hopefully take off in the future. @killogram is the real deal.
