I recall the characters were trying to get to Space Junk Galaxy but we never see it and instead they end up in Fossil Falls from Odyssey.
So we just get Comet Observatory, Honeyhive, Gateway, and bits of Drip-Drop, Freezeflame, and one small planet of Star Bunnies.

There's so much missed potential to like actually explore the galaxies from the game this movie shares the same namesake from. Instead we focus on the same few locations, its a letdown the closet we got was Honeyhive all we get is background cameos its so fucking LAME

just watched a second time and while i can acknowledge that it was still fun and did some things better than the first movie, it still was just references galore and wasn’t that great.

just got back from the midnight showing of #thesupermariogalaxymovie and honestly i had a lot of fun and enjoyed it a lot!
i feel like this movie corrects a lot of mistakes the first one made and gives some characters their time to truly shine.
the pacing still isn’t great tho
