@TheAmpHour That's "Multiwire" -a fabrication technique in which conductors are laid down as insulated wires in wet resin on the surface of an undrilled board. The wires can cross each other with abandon. The holes are drilled and plated through after curing. Density is much higher than PCB.

@leftinthebay SAC was a made-up name for “war games” (actually a kind of guerrilas-versus-pigs capture-the-flag game) I organized when dome guy came into the Berkeley Tribe with the idea. I planted an article and fronted a put-on press canference posing as Generalissimo Ultimo Maximus.

The SAC organized the games in order to demonstrate the advantages of decentralized organization in a "street fighting situation". One of the radicals who organized the games, Lee Felsenstein, would later play a major role in the development of personal computers and the internet

53 years ago, Oct 31 1969, the Strategic Anarchy Command celebrated Halloween by holding mock "war games" in Berkeley. The games turned into real street fighting with police after the crowd spontaneously ripped down the People's Park fence and destroyed its alarm system
