@Mister_G_2 If the Kim regime does not take risky and aggressive actions then other powers will start to view them as toothless, which will undermine the power and influence of the Kim regime.

Since before North Korea's first nuclear test, I have been hearing this line of reasoning to dismiss the possibility of Pyongyang doing dozens of violent/aggressive/risky things it then actually does. The Kim regime's strategy for survival includes risky acts of aggression.

@Mister_G_2 Nuclear backpacks! Very much already a big idea in Pyongyang, as you know, haha. Could the lightbulb moment be NK skydivers with nuke backpacks jumping from AN-2 Colts?

Don't give Pyongyang any ideas.
