The agent economy is booming, and with it, major pain points and problems are raising. Our team has proposed the ERC-8162 proposal on Ethereum to solve one of the biggest frictions that exists today on x402 and A2A payments.

The agentic economy runs on two primitives today: identity (ERC-8004) and per-request payments (x402). Per-request works great for transactional calls with fixed costs. But most agent interactions aren’t transactions. They’re conversations. - Debugging with an AI assistant - Monitoring a portfolio 24/7 - Agents collaborating across multiple steps These are ongoing relationships, not one-off calls. x402 made payments native to HTTP.
