and it frustrates me to no end seeing the company push this narrative that heeseung’s departure was done out of their respect for his artistic integrity when that seems to be the absolute last thing that’s happening here.

but it actually pains me to see people paint heeseung out to be selfish for his decision after watching him wait for years, seemingly under false promises from the company, for the moment he could finally share his art with the world.

heeseung leaving enhypen did not happen in a vacuum. when you strip the situation of its context it’s easy to see it as the company simply respecting his artistic integrity, when their prolonged dismissal of his artistry seems to be what led us here in the first place. +
