@CMyersPhysio In practise many ruptures look messy rather than binary. Approximation in PF correlates better with functional continuity and non-operative decision making than gap size, especially in longitudinal/ frayed tears.

Do you scan Achilles ruptures? 🤔🦵 Achilles tendons rarely snap cleanly — they usually fail longitudinally, so “gap measurements” can be subjective. I focus less on gap size and more on tendon approximation at neutral & 20° PF (transverse), plus Kager's fat pad encroachment.
