@QuintonLucasKC You need to add a #4 to your to-do list: Enforcement of traffic laws. Most drivers ignore traffic laws unless they think they'll get caught. "No right turn on red" signs are almost universally ignored. They might as well read "no right turn on red except if you feel like it."

With more openings this week, including Lee’s Summit Road in southeast Kansas City, the City is excited to continue helping folks get around town—in your cars, on foot, or on a bike, or via public transit—to get home, to work, school, or to support local businesses and services.

@KellisRobinett I'm impressed. Not only by the spectacle on the field, but it looks like they managed to get a pretty full house there by gametime.

@QuintonLucasKC Some pointers: "When addressing a King and Queen together, use the collective title "Their Majesties". In direct conversation, greet them as "Your Majesties". For the remainder of the conversation, it is customary to address the King as "Sire" & the Queen as "Ma'am." Don't forget

@JDuncanKC In addition to all that, Trump had stated that one of his primary goals for the war was to destroy Iran's missile capabilities. That didn’t happen, and the deal that was reached doesn’t even include the word “missiles.”

@washingtonpost "President JD Vance?" Your reporters forgot to put the "Vice" in "Vice President JD Vance." But some would say he already has enough vice.

President Trump left no ambiguity as to how he felt about the Obama administration’s 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. Now, Trump has a preliminary deal with Iran of his own. Here’s how his compares: wapo.st/4wkavkv

“In their arrogance, Trump and Netanyahu defied their predecessors in all the worst ways, and now they court a profound defeat when, not long ago, a meaningful victory, however partial, was well within their grasp,” our columnist David French writes. nyti.ms/4eQJcIk

Hodge Park is set to gain Kansas City's newest cricket field. More than 30 teams already play across our city, and now they'll finally have a home in the Northland. Sports capital of the world? I'd say so.

@Eric_Schmitt If Iran's military was crippled, how is it they have been able to stop ships from transiting the Strait of Hormuz and fire missiles into the Gulf States? Obviously Trump wasn't able to entirely cripple them.

President Trump achieved what many thought was impossible, crippling Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities while creating an opening for diplomacy. President Trump was very clear from the beginning about the mission here, which was to ensure that Iran would never have a nuclear weapon. They no longer have the ability to do that, and now they’re signing on the dotted line, for the first time, that they won’t pursue it. And we don’t need to trust them—we just need to verify it. The president effectively knocked out their military capability. Their navy is at the bottom of the sea. They have no air defense. Their nuclear program is in shambles and nowhere near being restarted. And if necessary, we can always go back and mow the lawn because we’ve got eyes on it. What the president has done is create space for diplomacy, which has always been his North Star. There’s still more work to do, and we need to verify all of this, but he has accomplished something that most experts six months ago would have said was impossible. I think it’s a good outcome for the American people.

KCMO Councilman Jonathan Duncan told Charlie Keegan KSHB he experienced the traffic to Kansas City Stadium firsthand Tuesday. Duncan said his ride from the Plaza to the stadium took 2 1/2 hours. “I remain hopeful that between now and the next match, we can implement some corrections to fix the traffic issue. It has to happen," Duncan said. Read more: kshb.com/sports/world-c…

@Eric_Schmitt You say Trump is keeping the U.S. out of another forever war. Trump could have done even better than that. He could have kept us out of this war by not starting it in the first place. (And back in February, you said it would be over in a day or two. You were totally wrong.)

President Trump was clear: Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon. He’s making good on that while also keeping the U.S. out of another forever war in the Middle East. Every American, regardless of political stripe, should be cheering for peace.

@QuintonLucasKC I walk along Brush Creek frequently, & I periodically have near misses with ebikes & escooters approaching from behind. (Escooters are illegal on the trail, but that's routinely ignored.) I hope you gave loud warnings (and slowed down) when you approached pedestrians from behind.
