@CoraCHarrington They think wearing your natural hair out must be an indication of suffering. Very telling considering how a lot of them talk about their hair like its a pest that needs to be hid away.

At some point, we should talk about people who use language like someone’s “outfit belongs in the Civil Rights Movement” as an insult. Because there’s a very deliberate choice of words with a specific connotation instead of using a more neutral descriptor like vintage or retro.
