@merixhunter It just looks like it’s born from several levels of violence and dehumanization made manifest. Objectification, fetishization, dehumanization all rolled into one: even if you had no idea who Tserri was I think you could guess his opinion on certain things from the Nen beast alone

@DouglysiumArt I couldn't have put it better, especially the objectification, fetishization, dehumanization part. It's just all of his violent misogyny rolled into one incredibly grotesque creature and the way it immediately hones in to threaten Theta specifically makes me shudder every time

@merixhunter I do think actually all the Nen Beasts have interesting designs. Benjamin also has one of my favorite designs it’s just that Tserri’s is literally a horror monster. If it showed up in a supernatural slasher or Freddy Krueger movie it wouldn’t look out of place

@houseprinc3ssa The translated versions are but if I want to read the original in Japanese I have to get a subscription, at least I couldn't figure out a different way last time. It's like 6 bucks a month, I'll live, but ppl don't know how good they have it with mangaplus lol

@merixhunter I agree something sinister may manifest, but ultimately on the surface it seems that Tyson was tragically just born into the wrong family. A spirit who wants to spread love and cheer inside of their bubble - while very aware of the hellish fate creeping closer step by step
