Everyone wants to talk about the future of AI. Fewer people want to talk about what's actually powering it. Behind every model that makes headlines is a staggering amount of compute and that demand isn't leveling off anytime soon. If anything, it's accelerating faster than the infrastructure to support it. That's what makes @QuipNetwork interesting to me. They're not focused on the flashy, headline grabbing layer. They're focused on the part of the stack that's easy to overlook but ends up determining what's actually possible to build. Think about it this way if compute becomes one of the defining resources of this era, then access to it starts to matter as much as access to capital, or access to information. Going through @quipnetwork's docs, I kept coming back to one design choice: Quip aren't just securing assets. They're designed to keep those assets usable. A lot of security systems reduce flexibility in exchange for protection. The architecture here seems to push in the opposite direction. Wrap assets in post-quantum security, but keep them portable across networks. Interesting because the tradeoff isn't being accepted. It's being challenged.
