@mickycoden nowhere in this post did i use the r slur in this post? or mention the netflix show. this is about the GAMES and about people who don't engage critically with the story, not the new adaptation (which i didn't even have in mind when posting this).

there are certain conversations that could be had about Vergil's past that would be really interesting, but this fandom can't handle them. it's so rife with immaturity and stupidity that it would be practically impossible to have them without someone being disrespectful.

for the most of the trailer, Lady is wearing her Bike suit, but not in this scene... makes me wonder, is this some kind of Darkcom alt outfit ? is this before or after she got hit ? maybe a recovery suit she wears after her injury ? i got so many questions right now #NDMC #Lady

@mickycoden Okay but it made her backstory plain wrong. Like, complete 180°. Arkham married that woman to sacrifice her, he was a complete piece of shit (that's what makes him stand out imo). The show made him a pseudo tragic figure, complete nonsense.

I know that most people who watch this won't actually care, but there is so much wrong with Mundus giving Vergil the Yamato while we hear "he set me free" I get it - adaptation, but this really flies in the face of what made Vergil a great character.

@GingerDisruptif my theory is that the s3 will be inspired by dmc3 and they'll add arkham too..... For now i'm happy to see her scar

@mickycoden Individuals are individuals and deserve respect and dignity., there's no discussing that. What I'm describing (admittedly too vividly) is the process that drives these shows. Lack of care and mental checkout. No artistic engagement, from makers or viewers.

@mickycoden Demographics shift leads to design choice changes which leads to drastically worse future content as well as lowering the level of existing discourse. Also we're not talking about a flawed show, this is broken from the start. Honestly couldn't make it worse than it is.
