These are the type of guys you dream to have on your team. As a player and coach. Skyler Bell is UConn’s best player. NFL draft pick. Has 1,200+ receiving yards this season 2nd in the nation. Wants to go suit up with his brothers one last time. Without HC & QB (likely). He (knock on wood) has a much better chance at a great NFL career than a lot of guys that opt out in bowls do. Everyone obviously that is an NFL prospect is really good but Bell is one of the best WRs in this draft class and he’s going to play the bowl. Speaks HIGHLY to his character. If he didn’t play people would’ve no doubt understood. Playing anyways. Love it.
