Finally deleted all my tweets. I'm on the other website now with the same username. I will pop over to look at tweets occasionally but this site is a right wing cancer now, so it's not going to be very often. I love you all.

@bshelburne I got one of those programs to begin deleting all my tweets. Gonna just leave a single post and keep my login so no one can take it and pretend to be me. Already on bluesky.

Do I stay here to witness the empire falling? Or do I archive my data and log off for good? Trying to decide. I would really miss the smart people who are still here.

@ThePensive I think ultimately the fight over the actual outward facing leadership of the Democratic Party is so important right now. The old DNC/Dem leadership must lose for a populist and intersectional party to actually rise and succeed.

Ultimately, Democratic primary voters get the candidates they vote for. For decades, they have continued to largely acquiesce to whoever party leadership supports for House & Senate seats + local races. Unless Dem voters actually show their frustration, there will be no change.
