@SeegeLFC People are not hired solely based on academics. Maybe he has better communication skills, great emotional intelligence, punctual, reliable, dependable, not afraid to take calculated risks, great negotiation skills, a good bridge between his subordinates and management

Safety first! The Artemis II astronauts can be seen in their eclipse glasses, worn to protect their eyes when they experienced a solar eclipse on April 6. The Sun, the Moon, and the Orion spacecraft aligned — and Moon joy was had!

I am Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng, a medical doctor & the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right of everyone to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, I continue to demand, since his abduction, the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya from the brutal detention by Israel. He faces imminent and grave danger as a result of ill-treatment and inhumane conditions & the denial of medical care has been leading to severe physical mental harm and his current deterioration is rapid - these are gross human rights violations. #FreeDrHussamAbuSafiya #ReleaseDrHussamAbuSafiya #FreeThemAll

Per NASA, Artemis II might be able to see the Apollo 12 and Apollo 14 landing sites today during the flyby.

You have 2 dates tonight at 7pm (SA time): 1. Donald Trump will have a press conference to talk about how they rescued a pilot who was stuck on the ground in Iran. 2. NASA's coverage of the moon flyby begins, and the countdown to pushing the boundaries by sending a manned craft the furthest humans have been to. A third option, often undiscussed, option is to watch paint dry.

“On the Moon is a photo of my family. I pray it reminds you that we and America and all of the world are cheering you on.” Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke recorded a message for the Artemis II crew. Fitting that they hear his words as they close in on their lunar destination.

The Moon is special in so many ways. Scientifically, it provides opportunities we simply don't have on Earth. It's near enough to reach with robotic explorers and humans. And for all of us on Earth, it's special because it's ours. 🩶

The fact that made me understand this was when I learned that some of the stars you see in the sky have died billions of years ago but the light is still traveling to reach us. Basically everytime you look at the sky, you are seeing the past. Even the sun you are seeing is what it was 8 mins ago, as that's how long it takes for the suns light to reach us.
Moe@Mochievous

The scale of the universe is wild. We orbit the Sun with 7 other planets. Every star you see in the sky is another sun and many of them with planets. The Milky Way (our galaxy) has 400 billion stars (suns) and there are over 2 trillion galaxies beyond that in the universe.
