This study changed my life. People call me lucky but I'm just tenacious, shameless, sociable, restless, and OK with rejection. Life is a numbers game. Shoot 100 shots and you'll score some. People will say it's luck. It's not. It's creating more opportunities for success 🤷🏻♀️

The older you get, the more you realize luck is mostly exposure. If you sit in the same place, have the same routine, talking to the same people, nothing new really happens. You have to tackle the world to win. Travel more. Talk to people. Try a breakfast spot. Post on social media. Start a side hustle or a hobby. The world rewards motion. You don't find opportunity sitting still.

It’s fundamentally unorthodox that an ardent atheist socialist made the best adaptation of the book of Matthew that is so revelatory that even the official newspaper of Vatican City called it the best depiction of Christ ever filmed. Pasolini is one of the greats for good reason.

Cousin of the late great Roger Troutman, who pioneered the talkbox sound in the 70s and 80s, made California Love with Pac and Dre and then was tragically murdered. Ye put a Troutman back at the top of hip hop's elite and no matter what they say about him he's a good dude for it

Since starting in 2020, I've generated in total 4 graphic novels and 2 comics, totalling 600 pages. On average I've produced a full color, lettered comic page every 3.7 days for 6 years. I also created a card game with 67 unique illustrated cards.
You... can't live this way. I'm proud to have achieved some discipline for the first time in my life, but I've had a full-time job in addition to a family of wife and 5 kids.
I have to find a way to make a living at this. I've got a plan. I'll let you know how it goes, because I know I'm not the only one living this double life. We need some kind of path to sustainability.

To finish all 430 pages and 6 years of a graphic novel, I need only pencil 1 page, ink 2 and color 5. Almost done.

Isolating yourself is one of the worst things you can possibly do to yourself. It’s the best way to become hateful about everything. Everybody I know who isolated himself regrets it to the point that they would do everything to go back in time and change the past.
