The truth is, people rarely show the full picture. You see their achievements, not their struggles. You see their victories, not the sleepless nights, failures, sacrifices and disappointments that came before them. Life is not a race. We all start from different places, with different opportunities, challenges and responsibilities. Comparing your Chapter 3 to someone else’s Chapter 20 will only steal your peace and distract you from your own growth. Someone may be ahead of you in wealth, career, marriage, education or influence, but that does not mean you are behind in life. Success is not measured by how quickly you arrive, but by how faithfully you continue moving forward. Focus on becoming a better version of yourself than you were yesterday. Celebrate the progress of others without allowing it to diminish your own journey. Your path is unique, your timing is different and your story is still being written. The only person you should compete with is the person you were yesterday.

The people employed as good citizens earn salaries that cannot even sustain them for 10 days after feeding, rent, transport and children’s school fees are removed, yet you expect honest civil servants everywhere. A constituency has a senator, House of Reps member, chairman and a chancellor, yet no good roads, no clean water, no stable electricity in that area and nothing to show for all the allowances and project funds collected every month. Why does a poor country have so many elected positions? To do what? There are governors, commissioners and countless political offices everywhere, yet there are zero basic amenities to make anyone a good citizen while you listen to one politician stealing billions. Every 3 and half years another shambolic election with billions thrown everywhere, showing same set of failed people, then you have no choice than to choose who failed less when we clearly know they are failure but because of tribe, religion and the token you have been paid you start fighting on X and want others to also defend your bullshit and then suddenly everybody wants a safe society? lol, This system of government needs a reboot and a complete overhaul because this one is not working.

And that is why we judge ourselves by our intentions while the rest of the world judges us by our actions. That gap is where many of our blind spots live and it is not something we can just hide. So, be open to learning more about YOU from others who are “genuinely” concerned about you, because the bond you share allows them to see you from an angle you cannot see yourself. And yes, in some situations… there are people who can explain who you are better than you can explain who you are. Why? You know your intentions. They experience your actions. You know the battles happening inside your mind. They see the decisions those battles produce. They notice and identify patterns quickly. Stay teachable. Enjoy June. ✌️
