Last night, I made a joke to the family about something being 4-dimensional. Ash asked me later to explain what that actually meant. I asked him if he knew what “2D” versus “3D” actually meant. He did that thing that nine-year-olds do where he pretended to know but then he turned himself in and confessed that he didn’t. We looked at some flat pictures and then I rotated a candle around and we talked about space. Then I made an explanatory drawing of one, two and three dimensions. Then, for kicks, I gave Ash the paper and pencil and asked him what he thought 4D would look like. For your pleasure, I attach said drawing. ♥️🧊♾️
