History shows we’ve come through dark times before. Being angry alone drags us down, but by organizing together, we fuel change. When I look around, here’s what I see that gives me hope for our future: the energy of young folks, the power of community, and the refusal to give up.

States have the authority to conduct elections, not the President. And Oregon’s electoral system is one of the most secure, effective, and accessible in the nation.

Why does Trump want to ban Vote by Mail? Because it blocks Election Day interference: closing polling places, long lines, voter suppression. Vote by Mail is the best tool we have to put power where it belongs—in the hands of the people. I'll fight like hell to protect it.

Assuming Trump Jr made this statement while sitting on daddy’s lap, rest assured I’ll fight this unAmerican and unnecessary threat with all I’ve got.

The citizens of Oregon have repeatedly and emphatically supported Oregon's immigration enforcement policy. We will not be bullied into doing the federal government’s job of immigration enforcement.

Trump is abusing the White House to cash in on crypto scams, rake in luxury gifts, and cozy up to billionaires. Foreign influence, financial secrecy, and unchecked corruption don’t belong anywhere near the Oval Office. The presidency is a public trust—not a get-rich-quick scheme.

Make no mistake, this has always been a grift for Elon Musk.

Thousands of Danish citizens are launching an effort to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland. They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

Democrats, it’s time to figure out whether you are going to be a part of fighting the Republican-led demolition of our government or whether you want to sit back and take shots at Democrats making an effort. If that’s your goal, can you please sit this one out?!

We filed a multi-state lawsuit today to halt a presidential order that threatens to end federal funding to medical institutions providing gender-affirming care. We will not stand by as the President tries to unilaterally impose his harmful political agenda on Oregonians.

Trump is replacing the rule of law with lawlessness. I’m voting against every Trump nominee and every motion to proceed to a bill until this crisis is over. You can help end this Constitutional crisis: show up, speak up, and make it impossible for them to continue.

Elon Musk is a terrible president.

Between putting vaccine denier RFK Jr. in charge of HHS and last night’s new censorship of CDC vaccine information, Donald Trump is all but guaranteeing a return of infectious diseases that will kill young children.

I'm not breathing a sigh of relief. This chaos and confusion is standard operating procedure under a Trump presidency. Until we learn more, it certainly reads like Trump is plowing ahead with his plans that will crash the economy and make communities suffer.

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch. President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.
