Losing my account made me realize how real classism is on Nigerian social media. Once your platform disappears, you see how many people with even just a few thousand followers suddenly act too important to engage with or support smaller accounts.

No matter the effort we put in nothing comes out but you see some people putting in just little efforts and they get massive results. A lot of Us are complaining that 𝕏 is becoming “too strict” now, but the truth is, it had to happen. Back then when it was still Twitter, people could post almost anything without consequences. The app thrived on chaos, viral moments, insults, fake news, and endless drama. It was entertaining, yes, but also messy. Now things are different because 𝕏 is not Twitter anymore. The platform is trying to become bigger than just a social media app. It is pushing creator monetization, long-form content, identity verification, business integration, and stricter moderation. A platform moving in that direction cannot continue operating with the same “anything goes” culture old Twitter was known for. That is why spam gets flagged faster. That is why copied content gets punished. That is why some accounts suddenly lose reach. Many users still behave like they are on old Twitter, but the platform itself has already evolved. At the end of the day, you cannot ask for fewer bots, fewer scammers, and less toxic content while also demanding zero rules. 𝕏 already made its choice. It is no longer trying to be Twitter.

₦100, Lagos & one empty seat 😭 Just left work, checked my wallet & saw only ₦100. Normal fare is ₦200–300. I prayed: “God, let one driver have mercy.” One driver pulled up, quoted ₦300. I told him I had just ₦100. He hissed and drove off… then reversed. “Enter.” God is truly good! Even in small things, He shows up. What are you grateful for today? 🙏
