In all honesty all the derbies in the Premier League are pathetic now. All the players that play in the same City are next door neighbours and all get on. It’s not the same like Spain and France where despite how bigger one club is the bad blood is still there.

Newcastle played 3 days ago before the barca tie while resting joelinton, burn, elanga (reduced minutes for the three), Tonali & tripper got full 90min rest. Barca meanwhile played two days ago and rested only fermin and lamine (both still came in)

-Newcastle faced Chelsea 3 days before they faced Barcelona ,City Faced west ham 3 days before facing Real Madrid ,Chelsea faced Newcastle & Tottenham faced Liverpool. Barcelona and the other teams rested most of their players while facing mid clubs over the weekend , then play tired prem teams. The intensity in the EPL is damn deadly & draining compared to other leagues.
