anyways, i found the part where they explain how they write their characters interesting. it's short, but it gives a glimpse of where they might be heading..

was reading the interview nehir and ayşe gave and this part really stood out to me… just tought i should share (if the translation didn’t mess it up too much): "(…) flaws and contradictions. unforgettable characters tend to carry strong inner conflicts. they are often flawed, and those flaws are what bring us closer to them. audiences don’t remember perfection, they remember what feels human, that resembles themselves or their dreams"

because let me tell you that was AWFUL to see from day one, at least for me. but when i watch a show, i try to step outside my own lens and see things from the characters’ perspective, given the world they live in. so i don’t get why you’d expect the kocari villagers to act any differently. AND WE'RE NOT EVEN SURE IF THIS IS TRUE OR HOW THIS WILL PLAY OUT

@giirlinterupted @resqirar i get siding with esme, especially after ep 16/17, but she’s not the only one suffering. adil, eleni.. they all have feelings and the right to act on them. idk why people insist on seeing everything as black and white

@resqirar girl it's so obvious how more than half of fandom is esme biased, some adil biased and just few who are neutrals like us lol. like i get you, one can always have favourites but almost hating one half of ship is ridiculous.

To me it was pretty obvious that adil would be mad at Esme for hiding isfad marriage. This secret would ofc come out before the big one and is just a way of showing a glimpse Adil’s reaction when he learns it. The sole reason they made Esme know was to build up Esdil trust issues
