@hankgreen In Europe, meter then centimetres for height. Here is Australia it’s just weird, people only use imperial for 2 things: your height and your newborn weight (but never on your current weight). Can’t understand either… But reply in metric and they’ll get it.

How do metric people talk about height? Just centimeters?

I'm just going to throw it out there: the new Mac Pro is very reasonably priced when compared to other professional workstations. Just go and try to configure a Dell 7920 similarly... 💸

Coming from a Beats Studio 3 to the Airpods Pro and the difference is *amazing*. The ANC is phenomenal on the low frequency, sag mill noise I have at work. Much, much better, and actually important! Comfy, do the job and sound good. Very happy #Apple!

@hellomista I'm going to spoilt it... :D 3 years already!! It took me ages to find it as well, and once I did, I never did another nested ifelse() statement. Bonus on case_when(), you don't really need to set a "TRUE ~" for all "the other states". If you don't it will NA by default.

The "it kinda works" paradigm: you know there is a better way to do a process, but just don't have enough time to develop that solution. So you're left with the bad one. Forever!

The difference between n00b and expert in #rstats n00b: finds a typo in the df name at the start of the dplyr chain. expert: checks console and google for error, purges environment, re-installs packages, restarts R and runs again. 10 mins later figures out the typo.😳

How do you organize code chunks that can be useful for recycling in other scripts? Does anyone have a good method? #rstats #rstudio
